The GYATRI MANTRA is perhaps the oldest prayer known to humanity. It is as old as the sun. This mantra is chanted in ancient Sanskrit and is most effective sung in the original language.

This prayer appeals to the Highest Wisdom: to the brilliance of the cosmos (which reflects, sustains and reabsorbs all sentient and insentient beings) ; to illustrate our understanding as individuals and also as a world family. The appeal request that we become subtle and receptive to the Divine Wisdom which pervades the experience of consciousnessÉ

To chant the GYATRI MANTRA purifies the chanter.

To listen to the GYATRI MANTRA purifies the listener.

It is said that this sacred prayer spirals through the entire universe from the heart of the chanter, appealing for Peace and divine wisdom for all.
